God moves, even today
Grandma is in the ICU. She had a surgery to drain a brain bleed and is heavily sedated. We await the results of this morning’s CT scan.
After a late night of crying, reminiscing and hugging with Mom, Dad, Ryan and Elizabeth, I drifted off to a deep and surprisingly restorative sleep. I know she’s in Good Hands; and yet, I didn’t know how or what to pray this morning. As I listened to a devotion on being a vessel, a blinding beam of light shone into my unlit living room. It was as if God were saying, “Just keep going Alissa.”
So that’s what I’m doing; and in God’s strength, Grandma is too.
Even today, God moves.

Beautiful thoughts Alissa! You gave me goosebumps. My MOM suffered a brain bleed about 10 years ago, but pulled through and is still with us today at age 86! Miracles happen! Thank you Lord.
